DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator (Tier 2) to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems in a Linux/Windows environment.
You'll be at the front line of technical support, providing day-to-day operations, problem resolution, and ensuring system reliability for client/server, storage, and network devices.

Why You'll Love This Role: You'll Be the First Line of Defense: Provide Tier 2 Help Desk support, diagnosing and resolving problems to ensure smooth IT operations across a range of platforms. You'll Optimize & Troubleshoot: Manage daily IT operations, optimize system performance, and troubleshoot issues in a Linux/Windows environment. You'll Support Mission Success: Play a key role in supporting mission-critical systems, maintaining IT infrastructure, and delivering effective solutions to users.A Day in the Life: Support & Troubleshoot: Provide Tier 2 Help Desk support, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems for IT systems, including client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile platforms. Daily IT Operations: Manage the daily activities related to the configuration and operation of IT systems, ensuring smooth functionality and system reliability. Assist Users: Provide technical support to users, assisting them in accessing and using IT systems effectively. Escalate & Communicate: Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers, ensuring transparency and quick issue resolution. Optimize Systems: Perform system capacity analysis and optimize system operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization and performance.What You Bring to the Table: 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration, including troubleshooting and problem resolution in Federal Government environments. Proven expertise in Linux and Windows environments, with strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and system operations including VMWare, MacOS, or UNIX. Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, with a focus on diagnosing and resolving complex IT hardware/software issues.What You Need: Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. 5 additional years of system administration experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification or IAT II equivalent. Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph.Why Join DeNOVO Solutions?
