Role Overview:Nexus is expanding, and we're seeking multiple Sourcers to partner with our Talent Acquisition team. This role will focus on identifying and engaging top-tier talent for a range of positions across all departments: R&D, Marketing, Brand, Strategy, People and Operations. As a Sourcer at Nexus, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our teams, maintaining high talent density, and ensuring a diverse and skilled pipeline. While initially contract-to-hire, these roles have the potential for conversion to full-time for exceptional contributors.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Sourcing: Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to identify, connect with, and attract top talent across various channels, including inbound applicants pool, LinkedIn, GitHub, job boards, meetups, and online communities.
Pipeline Building: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for both immediate hiring needs and anticipated growth areas, aligning with hiring managers' strategic goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to align sourcing strategies with Nexus's business objectives and team needs.
Engagement: Foster genuine connections with passive and active candidates, serving as a brand ambassador to communicate Nexus's mission and values.
Candidate Assessment: Conduct initial screens to assess candidate qualifications, motivation, and alignment with Nexus's high-performance culture.
Data and Reporting: Track sourcing metrics to identify what's working, refine techniques, and report insights to the Talent team.
Qualifications2+ years of sourcing experience in high-growth environments, whether at tech companies, startups, or staffing agencies.
Strong sourcing skills across platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, Wellfound, and others, with a proven ability to reach and engage hard-to-find talent.
Experience hiring for technical roles is strongly desired, including backend, frontend and full-stack engineering, data science, and developer relations; experience in sourcing for open-source or zero-knowledge proof-driven organizations is a big plus.
Analytical mindset, able to track sourcing data and use it to influence sourcing strategies.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at forming relationships and presenting Nexus's vision to a wide range of candidates.
Adaptable and proactive with a commitment to continuous improvement and growth in a dynamic, high-talent-density environment.
