With your help, we can take on the challenges, the barriers, the statistics, and the seemingly impossible.
What you'll be doing
Act as technical escalation for a team of systems and network engineers and administrators, accountable for compute, storage, Cloud, data protection, load balancing, certificate management, OS, automation, virtualization and network infrastructure.
Provide input into team priorities and day to day workload and ensure proper planning and tracking occur for project tasks, Incident, Request, Security Events and Change Management.
Motivate staff and create a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
Maintain Hope Network Information Technology's Business Continuity Disaster Recovery plan and coordinate with IT teams for testing and execution.
Identify risks and form contingency plans as soon as possible.
Foster team cohesion and be transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
Participate in or host meetings with staff, coach & mentor, provide feedback for employee evaluations, career development planning, etc.
Maintain systems and infrastructure to align with privacy laws and practices outlined by HIPAA and HITECH.
Anticipated Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with some flexibility
Must also be available for after-hours technical maintenance as needed
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a technical area, preferred.
Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto, or cybersecurity certifications highly desired; direct work experience will be considered.
8+ years working in a systems and infrastructure role (at a data center, as a Network Engineer, as a Systems Engineer, etc.)
5 years' experience working with and supporting VMware or another Server Virtualization.
5 years working in Windows environment (Active Directory, Azure, Server OS deployment, etc.)
