Founded in 2020 in Portland, Oregon, Skypoint has rapidly grown to over 75 employees and 125 customers. Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Lifetime Work Offices) – Onsite, no hybrid or remote work.
Who We're Looking For An experienced, driven, and independent Technical Product Manager to help shape our Data and AI Platform. We're seeking someone who is eager to make a significant impact at a fast-growing company. Responsibilities: As a Technical Product Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of product lifecycle management, staying on top of market demands, technology trends, and competition in the customer data and privacy domain. You will also serve as the Product Owner, contributing significantly to product excellence. Your role will include:
· Customer and User Focus: Be passionate about delivering value by understanding user needs and market trends.
· Adaptability and Detail-Oriented: Be agile, find solutions to challenges, and deliver on commitments while measuring success.
· Team Collaboration: Embrace diversity in collaboration and value team contributions to deliver customer impact.
Key Responsibilities: · Lead the strategic vision and roadmap for product releases.
· Manage enhancement ideas, bugs, and new features while sourcing and organizing information for product updates.
· Act as the subject matter expert on product configuration and usage, educating both internal and external audiences.
· Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and support materials.
· Communicate maintenance schedules, outages, and release notes across teams.
· Utilize product tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and own the product backlog.
· Define user problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft effective solutions.
· Write clear epics and user stories with articulated acceptance criteria.
· Conduct grooming and planning sessions, retrospectives, and track key product metrics.
· Support new implementation projects as a key stakeholder.
· Maintain foundational knowledge of cloud-based SaaS products, B2B/B2C environments, and platforms like Azure.
· Ensure global privacy compliance requirements are met and understood by the development team.
· Collaborate with UI designers on functional designs and have experience or knowledge of building APIs.
· Assist with special projects as needed.
Skills & Experience Required: · Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at a leading product company.
· Proven strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into actionable release plans.
· Familiarity with agile ceremonies and backlog ownership.
· Understanding of healthcare products or data solutions is a plus.
· Ability to track and interpret product health metrics and user adoption rates.
· Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, customer data platforms, and privacy compliance.
· Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
