Technician, Customer Deployments

As a Technician you will be an essential member of the Customer Deployments team. You will become a goto subject matter expert in supporting Harbingers deployed fleet, You will partner closely with Engineering and external service partners to help ensure our fleets are well supported and have maximum uptime. Work at headquarters on prototype and manufacturing support. Work onsite at customer facilities for fleet field support. Work in the field supporting engineering test activities.What you'll DoCustomer fleet technical support remoteField support - customer fleets, special events, test supportManufacturing build support Engineering prototype build supportTools and shop management and organization, supplies inventory managementData collectionFixture projectsEquipment calibrations and records keepingHands on testingService procedure development and trialsTraining the trainers for service network and other internal techniciansWhat You'll Need5+ years' work experience in a vehicle workshop and/or dealer shopEV and HV experience is a plusGraduation from high school or equivalent and an Automotive Technology degree from an institution, or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.Natural ability to interface with many different people from many different technical disciplines and operate with them seamlessly.Ability to self-start, manage, and execute to completion given tasks with varying levels of advance information given in various written and verbal formats.Valid driver's license required.Factory training programs through OEMs are a plus.Familiarity with vehicle Controller Area Network (CAN) communication Expertise with Vector CANoe/ CANalyzer a plusStrong ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions to complex problemsStrong understanding of vehicle systems and their interactionsAbility to travel as requiredA creative curiosity, collaborative work ethic, hardworking enthusiasmExcellent communication skills and team working tendencies
