Terminal Operator

Job Title: Terminal Operator I Plains is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Terminal Operator I to join our team.
As a Terminal Operator I, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining terminal assets and/or pipeline facilities, ensuring accurate and safe transportation and storage of products.
Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain terminal facilities, including tanks, pumps, LACTs, valves, and terminal piping.
Inspect pumps, valves, and equipment for proper operation and perform general facility maintenance as needed.
Perform monthly DOT inspections and ensure associated records are completed.
Maintain effective and timely communications with Terminal Control Center.
Take meter readings, inspect and gauge tanks, and complete accurate and timely reports.
Inspect perimeter fencing, locks, and maintain proper facility security.
Maintain environmental equipment and process waste.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
Pipeline knowledge and experience, with ability to manage pump station, pipeline, and lease crude oil shipping responsibilities.
Ability to read and comprehend technical operational manuals.
Basic math and computer/PC skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
Cleared criminal history and satisfactory reference checks.
Fluent speaking and writing English required.
