Test Technician (Temp Position)

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Test Technician to support both production and prototype-level testing. The role involves assisting in the development of new test systems and procedures, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting existing ones. Key responsibilities include ensuring proper data collection, storage, and review, performing calibration of test setups, making baseline measurements, validating test plans, and generating test reports.


\n Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Proficient in using measurement instruments, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, generators, and power meters.Ability to tune and test various components to required specifications.Interpret and apply electronic theory and principles from documentation, schematics, or verbal instructions.Perform operational tests and fault isolation to ensure systems meet product specifications.Conduct in-process and final verification testing on equipment.Set up and use test equipment to evaluate performance and reliability.Identify potential product or production issues and communicate effectively.Perform other duties as assigned. Position QualificationsAbility to adapt to change and new responsibilities.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Solid job knowledge with an ability to keep skills current.Dependable and able to work independently, with good attendance.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.Honest and ethical, maintaining confidentiality.Proactive in seeking solutions and completing projects. Experience and SkillsExperience with RF connectors, cables, and torque wrenches.Familiarity with taking and recording measurement data, such as S11 measurements.Knowledge of working in test chambers and performing antenna pattern measurements.High proficiency in using measurement instruments and network analyzers.Ability to interpret drawings and assemble components accordingly.Experience with passive microwave components and antennas.Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
