The Role: As a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Therapist, youll be on the front lines of providing essential therapeutic support to individuals dealing with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting individual counseling sessions and leading engaging group therapy. Maintaining detailed documentation to ensure comprehensive client care. Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Coordinating seamless discharge planning to support clients smooth transitions. Collaborating with other agencies to advocate for holistic, integrated care. Offering case management services to enhance overall client well-being. What You Bring: Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. At least one year of experience providing services to adults with substance use disorders and/or mental illness. LPC, LSW, LPCC, or LISW required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, stellar organizational abilities, and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch. Occasionally, the employee must lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
