Professional Security Officer- Nashville Job Type: Part-Time

Full Job Description: Treston Security Services is seeking a highly responsible and experienced Security Officer to provide protection for a Secure Location in the Nashville area. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, professional, and capable of responding to various security situations.
Responsibilities: Monitor and secure the estate grounds during assigned hours. Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property. Respond promptly to any security breaches or emergencies. Control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises. Maintain a detailed log of all activities and incidents. Collaborate with estate management to address any specific security needs. Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents. Prepare logs and reports as required. Qualifications: Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers. High School Diploma or GED. Must have guard card, or able to obtain their Guard Card. Must be 18 years of age. Have a reliable means of communication and transportation. Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English (Bilingual in Spanish beneficial). Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, or oral form. Be an effective team member and courteous telephone manners. Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances. Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization. Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports. Good organizational skills. Licenses (Required): Valid Security Guard Card/Permit. Additional Permits Upon Request, but best to have on Stand-by. US work authorization (Required). Experience: Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred) Security Patrol Experience: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: Nashville, TN
