Tasks include transportation nominations, system balancing and optimization, blending, documentation, credit,riskand inventory management.Operations Schedulersare responsible foroptimizingflow by coordinating pipeline, marine and or terminallogisticsfor commodity movement. You will work closely with trading teams and third-party customers to approve nominations for movement, produce shipping schedules and manage inventory. On-call availability for evening, weekend and holiday scheduling is required.Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:Lead day-to-day scheduling and operations for trading teams, including activities such as blending, quality control, loss prevention and forecasting analysisMaintains blending schedules. Performs blending analysis using blending software.Identifiesopportunities to increase blended product quality specifications and value, and alerts and coordinates potential alternate actions.Manage nominations for pipeline, marine, rail and/or truck carriers; monitors and executes commodity movementPartner with traders to manage physical inventory positions and recommend trade activity based on interactions with third partiesMonitor pipeline/terminal operations tooptimizeschedulesEngage with internal and external industry experts andmaintainstrong relationships and lines of communicationCollaborate on and communicate operational costs, optimization initiatives and best practice learningsAssistscommercial groups in evaluating the economics and viability of potential business opportunities by presenting alternative valuation viewpoints and incorporating logistical/operational factorsand/or market blending intelligence.Required qualifications:Demonstratedproducts blending experienceExperience in energy, manufacturing, transportation, supply chain and/or financeDemonstrated leadership skills with a focus on Operational Excellence and delivering resultsDemonstrated organizing and planning skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze data to draw valid conclusions,identifyroot causes and solve problemsDemonstratedstrong communicationskills, ability to communicate at various levels within the organizationDemonstrated influencing skills, the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with a diverse teamGood working knowledge ofMSWord,Exceland Outlook.?
