Job Description As a Trainer I at SmartRent, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees at SmartRent. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Training & Development, you will collaborate with various departments to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training solutions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities Take direction on core team projects, receiving tasks from management.  Assist with development of training programs and learning sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information, content, and resources for training materials. Host Weekly webinar training sessions for various topics.  Develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, documents, exercises, and multimedia content. Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling sessions, booking applicable rooms, and managing training materials. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for improvement. Stay current within SmartRent's industry, company best practices, and innovations in training and development. Stay current with SmartRent products, updates, and processes.  Provide support and guidance to employees participating in training programs, including answering questions and addressing concerns. Required Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in a corporate training, learning & development, or institutional education position OR a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field with 1 year of relevant experience. Tech Literate. Ability to navigate basic computer software & functions such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite/Keynote, basic video/photo editing. Clear communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner, both written and verbally. Experience with an interactive approach to training that keeps learners engaged, such as hands-on exercises & active discussion. Ability to adapt both within the training team environment, as well as catering teaching methods to suit different learning styles and paces. Proven ability to provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help learners improve and stay motivated. A patient, empathetic, and approachable attitude. Being patient with learners, understanding learners' perspectives and challenges, while creating a welcoming environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions. Organizational Skills. Ability to develop a well organized schedule, training plan, or project with clear objectives and outlines. Problem-solving skills and willingness to troubleshoot basic technical issues that learners might encounter during training. Self-starter who is resourceful. Providing additional resources, such as guides, tutorials, and support materials, to aid learning. Using content available to them to be as efficient as possible. Not limiting projects and being able to work in a constantly changing environment. Continuous development and growth mindset. Preferred Qualifications Proficient with a Learning Management System (LMS).
