This position also supports Rhode Island Student Assistance Services (RISAS), a division of Coastline EAP, which provides evidence-based programs in schools and communities to prevent substance use and promote mental health.
Position Overview: Coastline EAP is looking for a dynamic and versatile Training Specialist to support the organization by delivering professional live onsite seminars and virtual webinars to adult learners at various worksites throughout Rhode Island.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced facilitator, skilled in adapting training methods to engage a diverse audience.
They will deliver a range of trainings, including professional development, youth substance use prevention, employee thriving, and healthcare and human services.
This role requires travel to different worksites using the candidate's own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver standardized training sessions to stakeholders and represent the organization at health and benefit fairs.
Facilitate and lead youth substance use prevention strategies.
Develop and deliver engaging training content, including program orientations for various stakeholders.
Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs to improve outcomes.
Create supportive materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and digital content related to training.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, tailoring training sessions to meet their needs.
Represent Coastline EAP and RISAS at client company, marketing, and community events, providing exceptional customer service.
Program Quality and Continuous Improvement: Support the evaluation of training services through surveys, interviews, and feedback tools; develop action plans for improvement.
Ensure high-quality, accurate, and current data entry in stakeholder records.
Actively participate in team meetings to evaluate and enhance service effectiveness.
Pursue ongoing professional development through in-service training, professional reading, and attending relevant workshops and conferences.
Collaborate constructively with staff to address programmatic and agency-wide issues.
Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Education, Non-Profit Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Public Health, Counseling, or a related field.
Proven experience in facilitating training for adult learners, with excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
Experience in creating marketing content related to training programs.
Ability to travel to various worksites (valid driver's license, own vehicle, auto insurance required).
Technically proficient in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Teams, Zoom, and other relevant technology tools.
Strong adaptability to changing priorities and client needs.
Positive attitude with a passion for helping others thrive in their professional and personal lives.
Confidence in delivering training at all levels (4-6 years of experience).
Ability to work independently, assess training needs, and adapt content for diverse learners.
Familiarity with human resources practices and policies.

Salary Description
$52,000-$56,000
