Transplant Coordinator Associate, Kidney Pancreas Organ Acquisition

JOB PURPOSE:
The Transplant Coordinator Associate is trained in the additional specialized needs of the transplant and/or LVAD patient to assist the clinical team in carrying out supportive services for the management of the transplant candidate, recipient and in some cases - living donor.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma is required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three (3) years related experience and/or training in a medical office/practice; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with physicians, administrative and clinical staff to achieve Transplant program goals and objectives. Excellent communication, presentation and critical thinking skills. Must be a self-starter who displays a high degree of accountability and follow through. Exceptional assessment.
