Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Job Duration: 12 months Shift: Varied shifts Monday to Friday (specific shift discussed during interview) Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required to submit Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) verification - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N) Must-Have: Skills in IV starts Job Description: - Rotate shift schedule covering various imaging studies - Float between different campuses as required - Perform common imaging studies such as Cardiac, HIDA, bone scan, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans - Average of 12 scans/studies per day - Use of Meditech EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS for documentation - Operate Siemens Symbia T6 equipment - On-call duties required - Wear black scrubs; scrubs provided by the department - Department-specific orientation provided - Weekend and holiday work required - Report to Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech - Work with in-house radiologist until 5 pm and remote read until midnight
