Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year of experience required License: State License required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, NMTCB Must-Have: - Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings - Skills in IV starts and PACS Job Description: - Perform PET/CT scans, including whole-body FDG PET/CT, brain PET imaging, limited cardiac PET, and neuroendocrine imaging. - Handle a daily caseload of 33 PET/CT scans across two scanners. - Focus primarily on oncologic diagnosis for PET/CT cases. - Required experience in PET, cardiac, brain scan, and tumor localization. - Adhere to a strict compliance deadline with fingerprinting requirements prior to starting. - Participate in orientation with 24 hours of training provided. - Collaborate within a healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging. - Comply with current health and safety regulations, including required flu vaccination (medical exemptions only). - Wear the preferred grey scrubs for the shift, noting that scrubs are not provided.
