Certification Details Required certifications before starting work: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS ENPC within 90 days of hire Job Details Travel nursing position available Specialty: RN Mission Hospital located in Asheville, North Carolina Part of HCA Healthcare (Parent) hospital system Job Requirements Requested Skill Set: 2 years' experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED Must have: 2 years' experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED Advanced skills needed Procedures performed on unit Schedule Information Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, cannot commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the department Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED Unit Specific Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 101 Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically - medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds Type of equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors Documentation system: Cerner Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit Dress Code: Navy scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Attachment of unit-specific policies and guidelines Attendance policy will be provided on day 1 Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Teamwork and welcoming personalities.
