Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Endoscopy - GI/Endoscopy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 hour days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Not required for submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience/knowledge in Endoscopy within an Acute setting. Some critical care experience, such as ICU or ER nursing, and PACU experience is a plus. Job Description: - Provide direct patient care in an Endoscopy unit. - Administer moderate sedation under supervision. - Participate in pre- and post-procedure patient assessment and care. - Utilize Cerner Corporation's Soarian for charting and documentation. - Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. - Adhere to all established protocols and safety procedures. - Facilitate patient education before and after procedures. - Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality. - Be adaptable to changing schedules and patient needs. - Uphold professional standards and ethics in all interactions.
