**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Medical ICU **Job Duration:** 14 weeks **Shift:** 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM, 5x8 Hr shifts **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** - Two years of critical care experience - IV insertion and phlebotomy skills - Experience with conscious sedation **License:** - New York State RN License - Primary Source Verification **Certifications:** - AHA BLS - AHA ACLS - IV/Phlebotomy experience **Must-Have:** - Phlebotomy skills - Critical care expertise - ICU experience - Valid RN License **Job Description:** - Provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in the Medical ICU - Perform IV insertions and conduct phlebotomy procedures efficiently - Administer conscious sedation safely and effectively - Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans - Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records - Engage and communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
