**Job Title:** Adult Services Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Intensive Care Unit (ICU) **Job Duration:** 12 Months **Shift:** 12-hour shifts, 06:45 PM to 07:15 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent ICU experience. Two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred. **License:** Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided **Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - NIH Stroke Scale Certificate preferred - CCRN preferred **Must-Have:** - Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent experience preferred **Job Description:** - Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit. - Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. - Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure accurate recording. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Educate patients and their families on health-related issues and care plans. - Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to healthcare procedures and regulations. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities. - Demonstrate expertise in managing critical care situations and possess the ability to respond promptly.
