**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) **Job Specialty:** Critical Care/ICU Nursing **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year required **License:** OR license required; can submit with it pending **Certifications:** None specified **Must-Have:** EPIC charting experience **Job Description:** - Opportunity for first-time travelers with 1 year of ICU experience - Expectation to float between units and potentially affiliate hospitals nearby - On-call duties are required, rotating with local staff or per agency contract agreement - Weekend work is required every other weekend - Expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1-2 in ICU or 1:5 on medical-surgical units - Facility is a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center with 25 staffed beds - All scrub colors are acceptable; specific scrubs will be provided for Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units - Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are not mandatory - Orientation consists of 40 non-billable hours - Modules must be completed pre-start and are non-billable; average completion time of 16 hours - Communication devices will be provided as required for assignments, and related policies will be covered by the agency. - Candidates will need to commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Candidates are advised to submit months from their last permanent or travel position. Returning staff must wait three months between assignments.
