Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. Job Details Seeking a Registered Nurse to provide intensive care to patients who are acutely ill from a neurological deficit. This unit specializes in subarachnoid hemorrhages, unstable ischemic and hemorrhage strokes, traumatic brain and spinal cord injury. The Neuroscience ICU is a 16 bed ICU which provides ICP monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring of unstable patients, offering nurses the opportunity to work with severe neurological, neurovascular and neurosurgical populations. Job Requirements Must have experience in ICP or ventric. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Schedule Information Floating - Travelers are the first to rotate. May have shifts scheduled in multiple units, subject to current staffing needs, or different locations within the organization. If the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be reassigned to another unit to complete contract. Unit Specific Information Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions). Additional Details Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Current/valid Driver's License required if driving is a requirement of the position.
