**Experience:** Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
**License:** Current RN License or a current multistate compact RN License
**Certifications:** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
**Must-Have:** CARDIAC nursing experience
**Job Description:**
- Provide nursing care under general supervision to patients with a range of health issues, from simple to complex.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes in physician orders on assigned patients.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and perform minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing their physiological manifestations and intervening when necessary.
- Administer prescribed medication and manage intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care.
- Collaborate with the patient and their family to share the care plan during hospital stays and upon discharge.
- Inform patients and families about hospital procedures.
- Make referrals regarding patient care needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Delegate tasks to support staff as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with fellow employees.
- Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills.
**Education:**
- Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a board-approved program.

- English: Speak, Read, Write
