**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery **Profession:** Registered Nurse **Specialty:** Labor and Delivery **Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night **Hours per Shift:** 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) **Experience:** Must have high-risk (level 3) OB experience **License:** Valid Illinois License **Certifications:** COVID-19 Vaccine required (No exemptions), Flu Vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions only) **Must-Have:** Must be able to work every other weekend **Description:** This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery unit. The role requires experience in high-risk obstetrics and the ability to work night shifts. The nurse will work three shifts per week, with guaranteed full-time hours. The nurse must be flexible to take on-call shifts as needed for the operational requirements of the unit. Floating is mandatory and nurses may be required to work in other departments as necessary, not exceeding 50 miles from the primary location. Nurses must be adaptable and willing to integrate into team-based models if floated outside their primary competency area. A maximum of five days of requested time off is allowed, with no more than two consecutive days. Time off requests are restricted the day before or after a holiday and not permitted on weekends. Orientation is 24 hours.
