**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. **Experience:** Prefer 2 years of experience; First-time travelers accepted. **License:** SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start. **Certifications:** Required: BLS; Preferred: ACLS, NIHSS **Must-Have:** Epic experience **Job Description:** - Perform duties as a MedSurg RN on 3x12-hour night shifts. - Maintain patient ratios typically 1:6, may flex to 1:7 during unplanned absences. - Work every other weekend and be on-call as required for low census. - Must be willing to float within the scope to meet facility needs. - Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted. - Complete 16 hours of orientation. - Adherence to vaccine guidelines: COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required with exemptions possible for medical or religious reasons. - Work with Royal Blue scrubs and utilize Epic charting. - Non-billable modules to be completed pre-start, with module hours included in NBO hours. - Be prepared for potential involvement in emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.
