Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients. Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected. Ratios are 1:4-1:6 depending on patient acuity. Vent management, intensive/critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member Must have experience: Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage, ACLS BLSENPC Preferred SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: RTO: MAX 7 days , Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed No RTO 3/29-4/7; 7/4-7/7WEEKENDS: Every Other FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
