Travel Nurse Rn - Pcu In San Antonio, Tx

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including alternating weekends

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of hospital experience

**License:** Active Texas RN License (Temporary License not accepted)

**Certifications:**
- NIH
- BLS
- ACLS

**Must-Have:**
- Meditech experience preferred

**Job Description:**
- Perform Peripheral IV starts, Foley, and NGT insertions
- Chart using Meditech system
- Monitor cardiac and some hemodynamic parameters, utilizing Endo Tool
- Maintain patient ratios of 3:1
- Collaborate with unit secretaries and free Charge Nurse
- Adhere to dress code: Navy scrub top and pant, navy or white scrub jacket
- Follow nail policy for clean and healthy appearance
- Neat and clean hair, no extreme styles or colors
- Maintain clean and neatly trimmed beards, mustaches, and sideburns
- Cover visible tattoos whenever possible
- Prohibited visible piercings, other than ears
- All travelers are required to float as per the floating policy
- Comply with attendance and floating guidelines
