**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A, 3x12-hour shifts with alternating weekends

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience required

**License:** Active TX RN License (Temporary License not accepted)

**Certifications:**
- NIH Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

**Must-Have:**
- 2+ years of hospital experience
- Experience with Meditech preferred

**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- Perform procedures such as peripheral IV starts, Foley and NGT insertions.
- Conduct cardiac and some hemodynamic monitoring.
- Document patient information using the Meditech system.
- Monitor patient vitals and utilize Endo Tool for assessments.
- Work collaboratively with unit secretaries and charge nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to the dress code with navy scrubs and maintain professional appearance standards.
- Follow the unit's floating policy and guidelines as needed.
- Maintain compliance with attendance policies and other unit-specific guidelines.
