**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in a similar setting; experience with intermediate medication drips required

**License:** Valid state license required, pending licenses not accepted

**Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS

**Must-Have:** Familiarity with telemetry and intermediate medication drips such as heparin, nitro, cardizem, insulin

**Job Description:**

- Care for adults and geriatric patients in a mixed unit setting, including PCU, Med Surg Tele, and Med Surg
- Manage patient diagnoses like chest pain, atrial fibrillation, TIA, anemia/GI bleed, dehydration/AKI, syncope, and more
- Participate in a fast-paced environment with a stay goal of 18-24 hours
- Float within service line to Neuro/Stroke, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Trauma, Oncology, General Surg, Uro/Vascular, and Observation as needed
- Perform telemetry monitoring as required
- Complete a basic Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam with two chances to pass
- Work every other weekend with no block scheduling accommodation
- Engage in a Level I trauma center with teaching facilities
- Wear navy blue scrubs
- Use EPIC for charting, prior experience preferred
- Complete provided modules during orientation up to 12 hours annually
- Working in a facility that requires fingerprinting for specific units leading to an allowance of 4-6 weeks for processing before starting
