Shift: 3x12-Hour Night (19:00 - 07:00); 3x12-Hour Day (07:00 - 19:00)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years required; must have 1 prior travel assignment

License: DC license required before start date; pending license accepted

Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have: Strong experience in telemetry and peripheral IV start

Job Description:
- Provide nursing care in a Neuro Intermediate Care unit.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including switching between day and night shifts within the same week or working a few weeks of days and then nights.
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels.
- Work in a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 402 total staffed beds.
- Utilize Cerner for charting.
- Complete 28 hours of orientation at 50% non-billable.
- Participate in mandatory flu vaccination program; no exemptions allowed.
- All modules must be completed pre-start and potentially during orientation, averaging 12 hours.
- Scrubs should be worn in any color without other hospital logos.
- Provide weekend coverage every other weekend.
