OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract Requirements: IN / Compact License Minimum 2 Year Experience Will consider MedSurg RN with ICU and PCU patient experience with an additional 2 years. Unit Information: 32 bed, mixed model unit. 15 of our beds are PCU, and 17 are Medsurg. We are a cardio-pulmonary unit, with an emphasis on pulmonary. Our primary patient population is cardiac medical, valve replacement (cardiac and pulmonary), COPD, CHF, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, lung transplant (pre and post), trach-to-vent, neurodegenerative diseases requiring trach-to-vent, trauma (cervical spinal fx) requiring trach-to-vent, flu, TB, and COVID19 (only 3 on unit currently).
