Job Description:
- Conduct thorough assessments of adult patients in an inpatient rehab setting
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans of care
- Manage a daily patient load of 10-14 adults
- Prioritize patient needs and effectively triage for optimal care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated patient care
- Utilize lift and transfer devices for patient safety
- Provide patient and family education on therapy goals and safety
- Document patient progress and ensure accurate billing
- Participate in cardiac rehabilitation and address acute disorders
- Adapt therapy interventions for conditions such as amputee, CVA rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, nerve injury, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injury
- Be open to floating to other campuses as needed, with facilities within a 40-mile radius
- Complete required modules and orientation hours before the start
Note: Previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for this travel position. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Please ensure that supervisory references cover at least 1 year within the last three years.
