During your time with CenterWell, extern students will rotate through various Pharmacy stations within a mail-order pharmacy setting and work alongside Pharmacy Technicians under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.Role Responsibilities:Work in a mail order distribution center in a non-customer facing roleAssist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with local, state, federal, and Company regulations.Prepacking of stock including preparation of equipment and pre-pack labels, packaging and labeling of product for bar-code scanning, and quality control procedures.Stock control functions including stock level audits, expiry date checking, stock file maintenance, and maintenance of internal stock movement.General cleaning of work area and general maintenance of equipment and materials.Maintains knowledge of loss prevention techniquesShadowing opportunities with various departmentsUse your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications:Must be enrolled in a Pharmacy Technician certification/degree program that is affiliated with AZ CollegeMust complete and pass Humana's background check and drug screenMust adhere to attendance policyMust have a technician in training licensePreferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDWarehouse experienceAdditional Information: This is a temporary unpaid position to meet AZ College's Pharmacy Technician program requirements of externship hours.Scheduled Weekly Hours1Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
