Job Title: Utility Substation Program Manager

Job Summary:
The Utility Substation Program Manager will oversee and lead substation and utility infrastructure projects across Prime Data Centers' portfolio of data center campuses. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of utility and substation projects, ensuring reliable power delivery and alignment with operational objectives. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, the Utility Substation Program Manager will drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of utility-related projects, including high-voltage substations, to meet the growing demands of Prime Data Centers' facilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the program lifecycle for utility infrastructure projects, including high-voltage substations and distribution systems, from initial concept through commissioning.Collaborate with energy leaders on utility contracts, negotiations, and relationship management.Partner with pre-development teams to assess utility capacity and feasibility for new property acquisitions.Coordinate with operations leaders to forecast load growth and ensure future scalability.Oversee program schedules, budgets, and risk management to achieve project objectives on time and within budget.Manage external consultants, EPC contractors, and utility partners to ensure compliance with design and execution standards.Support sustainability initiatives and ensure projects meet environmental, health, and safety regulations.Develop and present regular program updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.Maintain strong relationships with utilities and regulatory bodies to streamline project approvals and compliance.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical, civil, or structural engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience managing utility infrastructure projects, including high-voltage substation design or construction.Strong understanding of utility contracts, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements.Familiarity with substation equipment, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protective relays (15kV through 345kV).Proven experience in program management, including schedule and budget oversight.Willingness to travel up to 25% to project sites or utility partners as needed.Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification.Experience in 500kV substation design and construction.Knowledge of sustainability practices and grid modernization initiatives.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong organizational and leadership abilities.Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners.Proficiency in program management tools and reporting systems.Capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic challenges in a fast-paced environment.Benefits:Competitive salary ($130K - $175K) and performance bonus program401k fully vested upon enrollment, up to a 4% employer match100% employee premiums paid by employer for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability Paid Time Off + Sick time
