key responsibilitiesAs the Managing Director, you will be the critical leader of our growth strategy, partnering closely with the founder to drive the company forward.
You'll lead the operational, financial, and technological facets of the business. We have a lean team and prefer to automate as much as possible to ensure seamless execution. This is a roll up your sleeves position while making a strategic mark at the same time.
collaboration and team building: Lead by example, roll up your sleeves and show how to be a strong team player. Build out the team with top talent, lead onboarding and be a coach.
operational excellence: Lead and optimize day-to-day operations, community and client happiness and growth, streamlining and automate processes to enhance business performance.
strategic leadership: Collaborate with the founder to refine and execute the company's strategic vision, aligning with organizational goals and market trends.
financial and legal focus: Manage our P&L, overseeing budgets, financial forecasting, pricing, billing, contracting and automate these processes as much as possible to drive profitability and sustainable growth.
technology and platform: Make sure our platform operates well, work with the product and team team from bug fixing to proposing enhancement and automations.
qualificationsproven leadership experience: Demonstrated success in a leadership role, preferably within a startup or growth environment. Ability to lead by example, roll up your sleeves and bring people along.
entrepreneurial mindset: A strong entrepreneurial spirit with the agility to thrive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
smart problem solver: Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and execute plans that drive business growth and innovation.
financial and operations driven: Ensure sustainable growth and profitability with automation in mind.
tech-savvy: Familiarity with tech tools and how to leverage them for business value. Know how to operate and evolve a tech platform.
dutch speaking: Although we're an international team, our base is in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We'd love for you to speak Dutch and work together with us in our office in Amsterdam a few days per week.
