Enterprise co-founded Power Forward Communities (PFC), a landmark coalition with some of the country's most trusted community development, climate, and housing organizations. It is purpose-built to decarbonize America's homes and drive a market transformation that cuts costs, benefits renters and homeowners, and focuses on low-income communities nationwide.
The EPA has awarded the coalition a $2 billion National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF) grant. Together with our coalition partners, Enterprise will use this award to deploy a powerful combination of financing, market building, and community engagement to create healthier, safer, and more affordable homes.
The Vice President, Green Lending will: Stand up new business line within Enterprise's Capital division to lead Enterprise's green lending work under NCIF.Develop, recommend and implement EGA strategy in collaboration with the President, ECLF and President, Capital.Evaluate and refine implementation EGA strategy to ensure operational and financial policies and procedures support the attainment of key goals and desired outcomes.Cultivate, develop and screen pipeline of NCIF eligible projects.Responsible for all aspects of EGA's origination and capital deployment including annual production goals.Develop strong relationships with other Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) awardees (NCIF, Clean Communities Investment Accelerator and Solar for All) to share learnings and ideas for program implementation and success.Raise and structure private sources of capital to complement NCIF funds.Liaise with the EPA and PFC to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with the program.Collaborate with other Enterprise business lines to support new product and pipeline development.Assess and recommend additional resource needs.Represent Enterprise at industry conferences and forums to establish new relationships and gain knowledge and gather information on new markets, trends and/or opportunities.QualificationsUndergraduate degree required, advanced degree in business, finance or related field preferred.Ten (10) years of community development lending experience, with familiarity of the credit, underwriting and asset management functions.Five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience.Strong knowledge and understanding of clean energy financing.Familiarity with federal requirements for NCIF and GGRF financing.Experience raising and structuring private investments, including negotiation of terms.Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of stakeholders.Strategic leadership and management skills, including competence in decision making, change management, staff management and organizational effectiveness.Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to represent Enterprise's mission and work in all internal and external forums.Demonstrated commitment to racial equity, social justice and climate justice.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.Total Rewards at Enterprise: You will be working with a group of talented professionals who are motivated by serving the community and addressing the need for affordable housing. Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family. The base salary for this role is $230,000 to $250,000, depending on level of skills and experience. The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
