The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing business strategies based on market research and competitor analysis, with a focus on developing the company's strategy for ambulatory surgical and other business development activities.
This role involves engaging in market intelligence, evaluating and presenting partnership opportunities, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the growth of the company's ambulatory services.
The VP will also be involved in physician recruitment, maintaining relationships with managed care staff, and participating in the development of legal documents for ASC partnerships.
Applicants for the VP of Business Development role at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of experience in the healthcare sector, with a strong background in physician interactions and a proven track record of success.
The position requires a candidate with strong data analytics and finance skills, as well as the ability to influence and direct staff and physicians.
An undergraduate degree is required, with a postgraduate or MBA strongly preferred.
