About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the US regional sales, branding, business development, and growth strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall sales execution, strategic planning, forecasting, and growth in the US region.
This role involves building strong customer relationships, particularly in the educational sector, and partnering with distribution and representative groups.
The VP of Sales will also be tasked with growing current and identifying new OEM customers, and must have a proven track record in leadership, including growing, hiring, and mentoring a sales force.
The position requires a minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role, and a background in the education industry, preferably in educational furniture or related fields.
Applicants for the Vice President of Sales position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred.
The role demands a candidate with a strong executive presence, excellent leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, and the ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally.
The VP of Sales will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams and to ensure that all sales and administrative requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner.
The ideal candidate will have experience in selling through distribution and/or manufacturing representatives, and be adept at providing strategic direction to the sales team, as well as at analyzing market conditions and competitor activities.
This is a remote, work-from-home position, with a preference for candidates located in the Midwest region.
