The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven track record in Project Controls for Federal Government Contractors, overseeing a team of approximately 80 project controllers.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency, consistency, and compliance of processes and reporting.
Responsibilities include staffing and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, overseeing process improvements, and supporting acquisition due diligence and integration.
The VP will also be responsible for project controls resources, training, and documentation, as well as managing team communication and meetings.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the industry.
Essential qualifications include expert knowledge of Costpoint, extensive experience in revenue recognition, and proficiency in GAAP accounting and compliance.
The role demands a strong leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
A Master's degree or CPA is preferred, and experience with Earned Value is a plus.
The VP will also be expected to work closely with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and shared services teams, and must be comfortable presenting to large audiences.
