Job Summary: The Vice President, Quality and Regulatory Affairs works collaboratively with Vitra's management team across the company, and with outside partners, to design and execute the strategic framework of Vitra's regulatory efforts in accordance with State, local & Federal laws. The role is also accountable for furthering the development and providing oversight of quality systems and compliance strategies.
Responsibilities: • Serves as Vitra's HIPAA IT Security Officer, and HIPAA Privacy Officer
• Proactively identify regulatory issues; offer creative solutions and strategies, including risk mitigation
• Oversees the healthcare compliance program, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory and legal requirements through collaboration with legal counsel
• Advises senior management, the CEO, and the Board of Directors on enterprise-wide performance and risks
• Advises Vitra's departments on identifying risks and developing remediation plans
• Assures mechanisms are in place to help prevent, detect, and correct health care fraud and abuse
• Develops and/or oversee internal privacy and security policies that protect the confidentiality and integrity of PHI and ensure that employee training is effective and current
• Oversees investigations of privacy and compliance violations and report to oversight agencies as required
• Oversees ongoing accreditation efforts and monitors Elements of Performance (EOPs), corrective action plans and in collaboration with the Chief of
• Identifies and develops activities to support risk and quality management for PPLM
• Leads all regulatory activities ensuring alignment with State, local & Federal laws requirements as well as company policies.
• Accountable for development and implementation of effective regulatory strategies across all Vitra's departments
• Ensures Management team are appraised of developments that may impact regulatory success, exercising sound judgement and communicating in a professional and timely manner. Anticipates and manages risks
• Maintains awareness of interrelationships among organizational functional areas, and proactively pulls leaders together to address strategic goals and areas for improvement.
• Facilitates the sharing of information and timely decision-making in a rapidly changing environment.
• Provides leadership and management oversight to functional areas as assigned.
• Monitors and anticipates trends that impact both the regulatory and access environments to strengthen Vitra's compliance and quality programs and adopt regulatory strategies in a timely manner.
• Hires, leads and coaches direct reports, and oversees. systems and processes for regulatory operations, working with vendors, professional associations, regulators, and accrediting agencies as needed, to assure compliance and survey readiness
• Accountable for leading and managing a comprehensive quality management strategy to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborates with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies related to compliance and regulatory activities
• Ensures organizational metrics are coordinated, organized, and communicated accurately and timely.
• Keeps CEO informed of deliverables and overall functional area compliance with metrics and initiatives.
• Monitor operating budgets of assigned business units to ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
• Fosters a culture of customer service and commitment to quality care.
• Serves as a brand ambassador for VITRA reflecting our vision, mission, and values.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements: • Minimum 10 years of extensive administrative and senior leadership experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in compliance
• Deep understanding of advancements in public administration and organizational development
• Strong knowledge of regulations and contracting
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; MBA a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with individuals and groups
• Must be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices
• Analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies.

• Ability to execute and track multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English and a second language preferred
• Microsoft Suite and Google Suite proficiency required.
