The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new revenue opportunities within existing accounts, with a focus on building strong client and stakeholder relationships, identifying high-value opportunities, and promoting the company's capabilities.
This role requires a balance of business acumen and interpersonal skills, and the VP will be accountable for executing an annual strategic business plan to drive new revenue and sales growth.
Essential functions include managing client opportunities, collaborating with service lines, and engaging in lead-generation activities.
The VP will also be involved in team leadership and development, inspiring a culture of teamwork, and managing and coaching team members.
Applicants for the VP, Strategic Business Partner position at the company should have a BS in business, marketing, or a similar field, with a preference for an MBA or MS. A minimum of 20 years experience, particularly in life sciences company sales and marketing or professional services firms, is required.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in driving revenue growth, expertise in consultative, insight-focused, account-based selling, and a comprehensive understanding of life science customer experience and engagement strategies.
Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to think strategically, build relationships, and adapt to changing market conditions.
The role demands a results-oriented individual with a proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
