SUMMARY: Pinelake Church is seeking an entry level Video Producer with a track record of creating solid video work. The ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their skills to further Pinelake's mission and will play a crucial role in maintaining the visual identity of the church. Sending a demo reel that shows your ability to film and edit video is a critical component of the application process.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.As a part of the overall Reservoir staff team, participate in campus-wide ministry events and the shepherding of our Reservoir faith family.Basic personal responsibilities:Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Biblestudy, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.Maintain active participation in community.Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).Value the 7 H's of our staff culture in your heart, home, and life (Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health and Harmony). SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ProducingBrainstorming with the team of 4 other video producers to build concepts and design videos.Creating contacts within Pinelake church for the purpose of having staff be in videos and to find stories.Develop and refine design concepts, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended message.Creating rough outlines, sometimes animatics.FilmingThe ability to maintain our gear and prepare for a wide variety of video shoots. Preparing and filming events across 5 Pinelake campuses and surrounding communities. Documentary style capture. Action as it's happening and sometimes field interviews.Studio lighting set up.Filming interviews, sometimes with multiple subjects.• EditingMaintaining footage organization.Cutting projects together for each medium in mind, e.g. social media, Sunday mornings, staff info videos etc.Quality control, checking and rechecking videos.Brand Experience:Demonstrate proficiency in working with established brand identities, maintaining brand consistency, and executing designs within specific brand parameters.Trend Awareness:Stay current with design trends and techniques, incorporating modern aesthetics into projects while respecting the church's unique identity.Collaborative Mindset:Collaborate closely with the Communications Team, providing video support and contributing to brainstorming sessions for various projects.Adapting videos based on direction and notes. Sometimes there will be multiple rounds of edits Contribute to the collaborative process, offering creative input.Time Management:Demonstrate effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.Teamwork and Feedback:Work cohesively within a team, taking feedback graciously and offering constructive input to enhance the creative process.Technical Skills:Proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, mainly Premiere Pro, and other relevant design tools. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED High school diploma or equivalent minimum; college degree or experience preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years of professional video experience.
