Qualifications:
A DMA (degree) in vocal performance is required, ABD will be considered. Experience teaching a variety of musical styles (classical, musical theatre, and CCM styles). College teaching experience strongly preferred. Responsibilities:
Teach approximately 33 semester credit hours per year over three semesters (fall, winter and spring) in the following subject areas: Applied voice in classical, musical theatre, and CCM styles
Diction class (English, Italian, German, and French)
Vocal pedagogy (classical and contemporary voice)
Benefits:
Salary range: 76K to 86K NOT eligible for Continuing Faculty Status (BYU-H equivalent of "tenure-track"). BYU-Hawaii health benefits for full-time employees. Eligible for renting BYU-Hawaii housing if units are available.
