We are looking for a senior technology leader in a FinTech remote-first SaaS company. You'll join a fast growing organization serving over 8000 clients with multiple products. The VP of Engineering Operations leads multiple functions and oversees many systems across the organization. Your goal is to drive improvements and alignment of security, system administration, infrastructure, and technology standards. You'll be shaping and delivering the technology roadmap, driving improvement, and continuously evaluating effectiveness. This person will handle major third-party vendor relationships, including selection, negotiations, implementations, and evaluations.
\n What you will be doing:Serve as a leader to the organization by guiding strategic direction, setting technical standards, and driving innovation across all technology initiativesLead and oversee the IT, Systems, Data, and Information Security and Compliance teams, with a focus on a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvementDevelop and manage the organizational technical roadmap, aligning with business objectives and ensuring measurable efficiency and scalabilityFormulate and deploy long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective technologiesKeep up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring that all technology operations adhere to relevant standards and lawsNegotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and ensure that service level agreements are metConduct thorough evaluations of technology vendors to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals, including assessing their capabilities, reliability, and cost-effectiveness Manage and optimize third-party integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity with all relevant systemsFacilitate clear and effective communication with stakeholders, leaders, and teams across the organization to ensure alignment on technology initiatives, project goals, and operational priorities.Identify, lead, and implement process improvement initiatives to streamline technology operations and enhance overall efficiencyFoster a culture of continuous improvement within the technology team by encouraging innovation and adopting new methodologies What experience and skills we need you to have:10+ years of experience within technology, with experience in a senior leadership roleBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldProven track record in leading process improvement projects, with familiarity in Agile methodologyExperience leading remote teamsExperience in managing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance evaluationsSuperior communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
\n$220,000 - $300,000 a year
The final salary for this position will be determined in FinQuery's sole discretion consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's skills, qualifications for the role, job-related knowledge, work experience, and FinQuery's business and other operational considerations.
