VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS (INSURANCE)
ARC Group is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President / Director of Operations to assist in leading and overseeing our client's operations team. Work is preferred onsite in Orange County / Irvine, CA but remote will be considered for the right person.
The VP/Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring exceptional service delivery within our client's Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims administration company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in P&C insurance or third-party insurance claims administration and a proven track record of operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Oversee day-to-day operations to maintain high standards of efficiency and service quality.
Process Optimization:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Utilize data-driven decision-making to streamline operations.
Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation.
Claims Management:

Oversee the entire claims administration process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex claims issues and escalations.
Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and safeguard company assets.
Financial Oversight:

Develop and manage the operations budget. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to achieve financial targets.
Technology Integration:

Leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement and optimize claims management systems and tools.
Strategic Initiatives:

Lead and participate in strategic projects and initiatives aimed at driving business growth and operational excellence. Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team based on industry trends and operational performance.
Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the insurance industry, either with a carrier or a third-party claims administration.
3 or more recent years of P&C experience.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of P&C insurance claims processes and industry regulations.
Proven track record of process optimization and operational excellence.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in claims management systems and technology integration.
