YOU HAVE: Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related Supply Chain field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.Experience: 20 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management, with at least 15 years focused on sourcing and procurement in engineering and manufacturing. Minimum of 5 years in a lead supply chain management role for a large, multi-product, multi-channel publicly traded company. Past operations roles, including direct manufacturing management experience, are highly valued.Technical Skills: Core supply chain competencies, including demand, supply, inventory, and production planning; SIOP facilitation; warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment; and leadership in direct and indirect materials management and procurement. Proficiency in MRP systems, commercial forecasting and demand management software, and familiarity with industry supply chain models like SCOR or SCM. Knowledge of ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS platforms, and proficiency in Excel, data visualization software, and data warehouse solutions.Leadership: Demonstrated success in developing a high-performing, multi-layered supply chain team and leading broad, performance-driven improvements across the organization. Experience in leading long-term, cross-functional strategy efforts with minimal guidance.Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work across the organization and manage supplier relationships.Global Experience: Hands-on experience working with suppliers, including those in China and other international ODM/OEM vendors, and freight forwarders. Proven ability to manage and track material movements across multiple organizational platforms and functional boundaries.Negotiation and Contract Management: A strong negotiator with significant experience in contract management, supplier relationship management, and vendor selection. Track record of P&L ownership and driving strategies focused on cost savings, efficiency gains, and value creation.Preferred.  YOU WILL: Develop and Implement Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of the supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial goals. Focus on key differentiators, new innovations, cost savings, risk mitigation, capabilities, and team structure.Diagnose and Anticipate Challenges: Identify and address supply chain challenges, anticipate areas of growth, and ensure prompt support for necessary system, process, and physical improvements.Risk Mitigation: Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, market volatility, and geopolitical factors. Develop contingency plans and resilience strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize operational disruptionsCross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, sales, product management, and IT, to align procurement and supply chain strategies with overall business objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Process Optimization: Lead efforts to streamline and optimize supply chain processes, including planning, raw and finished goods replenishment strategies, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.Cost Improvements: Drive cost improvements across inventory (raw material, WIP, on-hand), inbound freight, warehousing, and outbound shipping.Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, including hiring, performance management, and organizational structure. Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional development. Mentor and coach team members to achieve their full potential.Strategic Relationships: Foster strategic relationships with the company's most important external partners, including suppliers, logistics providers, and advisors.Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of supply chain activities. Analyze data and performance trends to identify areas for improvement and drive actionable insights.Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
