About this opportunity:
To scale our operations and meet the demands of our customers, the Ericsson US 5G Smart Factory is seeking a Warehouse Material Preparation (MPA) Lead to be the first line of support for leading the warehouse team in supporting production demand. Crucial aspects of the role are managing day-to-day operations, including the movement of materials and shipment of radios. 
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a demonstrated track record of leading teams, directing workflow, improving processes, and preventing disruption of the internal and external supply chain. This individual must have experience working with teams and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration.  Lead responsibilities include the following: receiving, Kanban delivery, shipping, interviewing, training, appraising performance, addressing employee complaints, and solving problems.   
This is an A shift role. The hours are 7 am - 7 pm every Sunday-Tuesday, and every other Wednesday. 

What you will do:
Act as the first point of contact for the MPA team concerning daily material delivery challenges 
Work closely with production and planning to ensure timely retrieval and delivery of Final Assembly components to the production line
Ensure on time retrieval of components and set up for NPI, TPI, PVT, and verification projects builds
Lead MPA team in the proper execution of MODI, material storage, and X-ray count for Final Assembly components
Utilize MODI & Valor hardware/ software systems to perform Final Assembly component material processing
Lead team meetings and participate in daily operational meetings as needed for updates on production goals
Provide team with daily goals and distributing daily task to complete
Monitor and drive team performance and adherence to warehouse processes and procedures
Implement coaching programs under the direction of management
Adhere to all safety, quality, company rules / procedures, drive compliance and report all incidents of non-compliance immediately
Remove roadblocks for team, find solutions to problems, escalate to supervisor when unable to remove roadblocks
Collaborate with Warehouse Specialist for continuous improvement 
Other duties maybe assigned to support warehouse operations

The skills you bring:
High school diploma or GED required
Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10-12 hours in addition to lifting or moving to 30 – 50 lbs
Positive conflict and change management skills
Be a self-starter, optimally work in a fast-paced and everchanging work environment
2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment 
Excellent communication: written and verbal and proactively escalates as needed
Phenomenal attitude and work ethic with a high level of accountability and integrity
Team player, proactive, committed to providing high-quality work 
Proficient with Word, Excel, Power point, other MS Office suite applications
Preferred Software Experience: V-Manage/ EWM / MODI Software/ SAP/WCS/ Apriso/CMMS
