My client is seeking an established engineer who is ready to make a significant impact in the field of water resources and project management! Join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA, where you will spearhead multiple public and private sector projects, guiding a talented group of engineers and designers to deliver world-class solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead and Innovate: Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge design solutions across a diverse portfolio, including green infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, watershed management, stormwater systems, environmental restoration, and more.Build Relationships: Cultivate and enhance client relationships while showcasing our exceptional water resources services.Mentor and Grow: Shape the future by mentoring a team of highly skilled engineers and aspiring project managers.Deliver Excellence: Manage a wide range of water resource projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced software tools like AutoDesk Civil3D, MicroStation, In Roads, and GIS, adhering to local, state, and federal design standards.Client Interaction: Collaborate directly with project managers, engineers, design technicians, surveyors, contractors, inspectors, public officials, and clients.Field Support: Provide comprehensive support during the construction phase, including site visits and detailed project analysis.Regulatory Compliance: Prepare permit applications and ensure projects meet all environmental regulations.Project Management: Lead tasks, manage budgets, and coordinate with subcontractors for seamless project execution. Reequirements: Experience: 12+ years in environmental stormwater management, green infrastructure, and stream project management.Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a strong team-oriented attitude.Technical Proficiency: Expertise in construction plan preparation, floodplain analysis using HEC-RAS software, and experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and GIS.Education: Bachelor's Degree in civil or environmental engineering (or similar).Certification: Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the State of Georgia.DOT and Municipality Projects: Experience with Department of Transportation and/or Georgia county and municipality projects is a plus.
