Web Chat Manager

Job Description:

As a Web Chat Manager at Discovery Communications in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of web chat operations for the company. This role requires a high level of experience and expertise in web chat management, as well as strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of chat agents.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to optimize web chat performance and customer experience- Manage a team of web chat agents, including training, performance evaluation, and scheduling- Monitor and analyze web chat data to identify trends and areas for improvement- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of web chat into overall customer service strategy- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in web chat management- Handle escalated customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner- Create and present reports on web chat performance to senior leadership

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field- Minimum of 6 years of experience in web chat management- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Creative problem-solving abilities- Highly organized with strong attention to detail- Motivated and resourceful individual with a passion for innovation- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities- Experience with web chat platforms and software
