Job Description: Sales Assistant / Event Stylist
Our Wedding & Event Decor Stylist/Sales will meet with all of our wedding clients to help design the event with product offerings from Luxe Event Linen. This person will also create quotes, follow up with clients, discuss & understand initial details all the way through the final details and execution of the event.
Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential client
Creates orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Recommends and suggests changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Keeps Social Media platforms updated along with marketing for industry partners.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks given as needed
Attend Venue events, Industry events, Bridal Shows & Represent Company in professional and knowledgeable manner
Self-motivated, Creative, intuitive, able to work on a team or alone
Ability to consistently meet & exceed Sales Goals, Closing Skills
Results-Driven, Customer service oriented
Knowledge of wedding industry trends in decor
Event industry experience preferred, but not required
Minimum 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced office environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, efficient
Professionalism, Self-Confidence
Microsoft Office Skills
Ability to learn product knowledge
Design Skills, Presentation Skills, Negotiation Skills
Hours: Mondays 11-7, Tuesdays-Fridays 10-5, Saturdays 10-3 (2 per Month, Alternate to Wednesday on Saturdays not worked)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 /hour
Event: 1 year (Preferred)
