Welder (Stick/ Smaw)

IMMEDIATE START Qualdoc is hiring entry-level welders for our client in Richmond. This role will support maintenance and repair activities for a fleet of steel transportation equipment. Welding will primarily include stick welding but may include some MIG.

\n Requirements3-5 years experience with MIG or stick welding Trade school education in welding preferred Ability to do precise measurements and read a tape measureMust provide own equipment: welding helmet, gloves, and ankle-high lace-up steel-toed bootsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAble to work overtime, on-call, and potentially 7 days a week a few times a year  Pay$23-$28.00/hour Overtime paid at time and a halfPaid drive time to/from client site ShiftMonday - Friday 6am - 4pm (currently50 hours a week on average but need to be on call 24/7 because they are in emergency services for the railroad
